Change of Ownership

Have you sold your car, bike, boat or quad? Don’t rely on the new owner registering it into their name. Allow us to do a Change of Ownership notification (NCO) for you and avoid any possibility of receiving traffic fines that don’t actually belong to you.

This service is applicable to sellers only.

There are no additional licence department fees applicable to this transaction.

Payment

After completing the online form below you will be presented with a quote. Should the quote be accepted, various payment methods will be presented. These include:

• Credit Card
• EFT Payments (for your convenience, you will be directed to your banking site)

Documentation and information required

• If seller and owner are South African citizens or resident, a scanned Copy of either both party’s ID, a valid SA Passport or SA Drivers Licence is required. ( From both parties)
• If foreign, a scanned copy of a Traffic Register Certificate is required
