Vehicle License Renewals

You can make use of our convenient, easy and simple online Vehicle License Renewal service to renew your vehicle licenses annually.

Importantly, you can process your requests and receive your licenses etc without ever stepping into a Licensing Department. As an added benefit, we also offer a courier service so you can request to have your license delivered to your home or office.

In order to be proactive and ensure that you don’t have to pay penalties for late renewals or hefty fines for out-of-date Vehicle Licenses, we also offer a Free Vehicle Licenses Renewal Reminder Service.

Requirements to use our online license renewal facility

You will need a scanned copy of your South African ID, passport or SA Drivers License in JPEG format.

Cost

• LICENSE RENEWAL FEES (STANDARD) 5 - 7 working days - R250 (Including VAT)
• If you have 2 renewals - R399 (provided the delivery address is the same as the principle delivery)
• For every additional license required, please add R114 (provided the delivery address is the same as the principle delivery)

PLEASE NOTE: The actual Vehicle License Fee payable to the department will be identical to the amount on the actual renewal notice as received from the department. Also note that a penalty may apply to late renewals. Should you not know the actual department fee, you will be required to make a R250 pro-rata payment.
