Vehicle De-registrations

If you have suffered the unfortunate situation of having your vehicle stolen or being declared a write-off , you can make use of Qing Services to collect all the necessary documents to affect the deregistration process. This will enable you to have the vehicle removed from your name and equally important, be paid out by insurance (if applicable).

All costs include collection and delivery charges.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no additional licence department fees applicable to this transaction.

Payment

After completing the renewal form below you will be presented with a quote. Should the quote be accepted, various payment methods will be presented. These include:

Delivery

Is typically within 5 to 7 working days to your home or office. Should there be a delay for whatever reason, a Qing Services Representative will notify you of the status and expected time of delivery.

Supporting documentation required

Original registration certificate (also known as NATIS Document)
If South African citizen or resident, either a scanned Copy of ID, a valid SA Passport or you SA Drivers Licence

Information Required

Reason for de-registration (i.e., write-off, scrapping, stolen etc)
- In the event of it being stolen; please supply Police case number & Police station where loss was reported
- In the event of a write-off; please either supply a letter from the Insurance Company requesting the de-registration and confirming that vehicle is uneconomical to repair, or an affidavit from the police stating that vehicle is no longer in use
